Marcia Gagliardi is a San Francisco–based culinary personality and freelance writer, known by many as “the tablehopper.” Marcia launched—a now biweekly e-column about the San Francisco dining scene—in 2006, and quickly gained status as the source for all the latest local restaurant and bar news, plus reviews of hot new restaurants, culinary and wine events, international travel guides, and more. Her influential column is avidly read by both consumers and the restaurant/bar/food industry, coast to coast.

She was the contributing food editor for 7x7 magazine, had a weekly column for KQED Bay Area Bites (Table Talk), the Bay Guardian, and wrote and voiced a weekly radio segment called
You Gotta Eat This for KGO. She has written features for Travel + Leisure, Condé Nast Traveler, The Guardian UK, LA Times Magazine, Entrepreneur, Time Out New York, and has interviewed numerous culinary luminaries like Jacques Pépin and chef Daniel Boulud. She has also appeared on many international TV and radio shows, and moderated panels like Commonwealth Club and emceed events including the James Beard Foundation’s Taste America gala. Marcia has also been recruited to do special presentations, from trends to ingredients.

Her latest venture is mymilligram (, a media brand that includes a weekly newsletter highlighting low-dose and high-quality cannabis products made in California, plus events and education.

Marcia’s love and knack for hosting has her conceiving creative and exclusive events for a variety of clients, including Louis Roederer Champagne, Henriot, Campari America, and Rémy Cointreau, and with mymilligram, she is hosting events weaving cannabis with food, education, and discovery. She currently submits a monthly trend report about West Coast dining to FoodSpark, part of William Reed, behind The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
